Nokia E71x Launched in USA via AT&T

Nokia has announced to launch its E71x on 4th of May 2009. According to Nokia its the slimmest smartphone in the market. The E71x has got a full QWERTY board and is available at AT&T stores for $99.99 with a two years of your life promised to AT&T. Nokia is focussing on texting and social media rather than voice calls with the launch of this phone.

“Our customers rely on smartphones to stay connected using e-mail, text messaging, and social networks. The E71x is ideal for that.” said Michael Woodward, vice president, Mobile Phone Portfolio, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets.

In a press release on May 04, 2009, Nokia says:

Nokia E71x, has high-speed 3G connectivity, WiFi, and features a built-in music player and a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera to connect people to their passions -be it messaging, social networking, listening to music, taking and sharing images or even navigating to a date or job interview with AT&T Navigator.

The Nokia E71x is available from AT&T stores and online from www.wireless.att.com at a retail price of USD 99.99 with a contract and mail-in-rebate. Additional information is available from http://www.att.com/nokiaE71x .

    Nice to know that its coming, but I like the E52 everlasting battery life that is hype to 8 hours talk hours and 23 days standby.
