MSI had been manufacturing low-end affordable computers and is one the few initial manufacturers of netbooks. MSI wind is the most famous MSI product so far. Obviously, its time to grow up. MSI has announced MSI CR400 notebook with a Core2Duo processor. The new MSI notebook series will be called “Classic” and CR4oo is the first in the series.
It has got a unibody design, a color film smooth print, an LED backlit 1366 x 768 screen NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G graphics card, a 4-in-1 card reader, DVD drive, Wi-Fi, a 1.3 megapixel camera and 3 USB ports. Its a 14-inch notebook.
If MSI succeeds to maintain its price culture in notebooks too and the battery timings are same great as in its netbooks, then it can take over the laptop market. I’d love to have a gadget which has high computing capabilities, is portable and is affordable too. No word on price yet.
A random thought, can MSI be your next laptop?
