I always keep my wireless mouse wirh my laptop but I hardly find an appropriate place to use it on the go. Trackpad is fine for short times but when I am at university, working on a project or at some event, covering it live, the trackpad just tires me. While sitting on a sofa or on an easy chair, using the laptop placed on the table is not a good option. I rather use it placed on my lap. But being an HP, laptop, it gets hot too soon. I summer, it becomes difficult to use it placed in my lap.
I guess, logitech is well aware of both of these problems associate with laptops and has thus come up with the “Lapboard” with slide out mousepad. This lapboard will no only provide you with a flat surface to place your laptop but also, it will keep your legs from the heat. The slide out mouse pad doesnot add to the volume of the lapboard and is a very solution for those who prefer a mouse over the trackpad.
Logitech, lapboard will shortly be available at $29.99.

This will be good one for all laptop users. I’ve heard that constant use of laptop can cause some damage to male productivity. I hope it will be solved from this.
Does it really help with the laptop heat issue?!
I’ve heard about this heat issue, but, I usually rest my laptop on my knees. Does anyone really set their laptop on their ‘equipment’?
This is cool. Although I usually prefer to use a trackpad, some tasks are just easier with a mouse. Have you seen the ‘trigger mouse’? Also cool; no mouse pad is needed!
