iPad 3G Hacked To Send SMS Over 3G Network

iPad 3G SMSA day earlier we got the iPad 3G jailbroken and now our friends over the iPhone Dev Team have success sending an SMS from a Jailbroken iPad 3G. The real no-call, no-sms restriction seems to be associated with the AT&T SIM card. So @MuscleNerd cut a T-Mobile SIM card to turn into a Micro SIM and sent an SMS through it. Obviously the iPad 3G is Jailbroken and unlocked. Here’s a video demo:

We are waiting for a Cydia app or a detailed tutorial for you guys. Hope they’ve success in making calls too. Stay tuned.

  3. We have been holding off on purchasing a touch screen mobile device wanting it to do more. The iPad, at first impression , is that “more” for me. I will probably purchase one at the soonest chance
