There had been a lot of rumors regarding an Android powered netbook including MSI’s announcement that they will be launching one very soon but we didn’t see anything practical. Moto Labs has made this thing a reality by running Android OS on an E Ink development kit. E Ink is a kit for developers which lets them develop and experiment on a paper-type ultra  low power display screen. In a video demonstration, a Moto Labs engineer successfully boots Android OS on E Ink.

As you can see, Android OS is being run via a keyboard on a netbook-type screen, without any bugs and error messages. Though no program showed running, yet booting is a giant leap! Welldone Moto, we are looking forward to some guy who picks up the idea to develop an Android Netbook!
