Performance of AT&T’s 3G network sucks sometimes but they have been leading the way by offering more and more 3G gadgets. AT&T has now added the 3G versions of the common netbooks, Acer Aspire One, Dell Inspiron Mini 10 and Lenovo IdeaPad S10 to its gadget line. Customers will not only get access to AT&T’s 3G network but also to the big network of wi-fi hotspots for free.
All the three netbooks are being offered under US dollar 200 with a two year contract. You’ll be able to access 200MB of data for $40 per month so obviously you need to go for additional $20 to access the 5GB plan.
You might be considering it a good deal but its not good at all. We’ll not recommend you to go for AT&T when you have a lot of better options like a Compaq Mini for only 99cents via Sprint! Also read the article for the comparative costs of netbooks you buy with the contracts.
