There were some rumors of Samsung, releasing portable media players like Apple’s iPod Touch and Microsoft’s Zune HD. Now, the news is officially confirmed by Samsung by displaying the aforesaid gadgets on its Korean website.
Only M1 was rumored, but the website is showing another PMP alongside, the R1. Its a pink colored, ladies-type gadget but seems cool. It has an 3.3″ touchscreen AMOLED and can play Divx movies. It has built-in accelerometer and bluetooth too. Both Zune HD and iPod touch have Nvidia tegra but its not mentioned with Samsung’s Portable Media Players M1 and R1. A representative of Samsung however stated that Samsung has to release Nvidia powered gadgets. So we can expect R1 to get Nvidia tegra, but no confirmation yet.
