HTC has been a big friend of Windows Mobile but used to get beaten by Nokia for long. Instead of going bankrupt like i-mate they decided to jump into Android’s lap. Android made them great, brought them the glory they never had. So HTC is the flagship manufacturer of Android gadgets now. But they seem to keep themselves loyal with their old friend – Windows Mobile!
So what we are getting from the rumor treadmill is an HTC phone based on Windows Phone 7. This not only is the news about the phone itself, but also suggests that HTC will be manufacturing Windows Phone 7 devices – many of them most probably.
The rumored device has been caught in the wild. Please your eyes if you are a Windows Phone 7 fan:
- HTC Windows Phone 7
- HTC Windows Phone 7 FCC Listing
No name know yet but it can be ‘HTC Spark’ as per my guess. Let’s see if comes true. This HTC Windows Phone 7 gadget is a slider phone with no Sense UI, yay! There are three touch sensitive buttons at the bottom of the screen. It rocks an 8 megapixel camera. Can’t say if it’d have HD recording capability or not. It has got a 1GHz CPU (most probably Qualcomm Snapdragon) and a 3.7inch SLCD screen.
Another clue on the HTC’s Windows phone 7 device is an FCC listing. This one however only tips on bluetooth 2.0, GSM, UMTS I, II support and wi-fi. So this all makes a nice combination. Doesn’t it?
