Didn’t I tell you guys, Steve won’t ever admire that iPhone 4 has a problem? He admired but in his own way. In a way that you’d think that the problem is just tiny or you can live with it without any hassle!

Apple’s press event regarding the iPhone 4 is going on at Apple’s headquarters. Steve Jobs is there on the stage telling that the iPhone 4 is not the only phone having the ‘Death Grip’ problem. To prove that, a Blackberry Bold 9700, Droid Eris and Samsung Omnia II are demonstrated. According to the the sets demonstrated, they drop the signals significantly when gripped firmly.

The Blackberry Bold 9700 dropped the bars from 5 to 1. This is just so odd. Has anybody here got a Blackberry Bold 9700? Yes, it doesn’t drop the bars at all when gripped firmly. I am sitting in a room in my house having the lowest possible signal strength. I tried to grip my Blackberry Bold 9700 at any angle and even with both of my hands, it doesn’t drop the signals at all. Sometimes I feel it does but it actually does not. How? Let me explain.

When I am in a very weak signal coverage area, every phone drops the bars because of change of position not because of the grip. I explained it earlier. Try it with your phone, it will drop the bars in a weak signal area when you slightly change it position. Keep it intact at its place, grip it or leave it alone, it’s bars will remain stable.
