Big news? Nokia made the Ovi Maps and navigation free for all a week ago and now it has passed one million downloads. Interestingly, China is on the top of the list with about 20% downloads, Italy is the second one and and UK the third. We don’t find USA in top three, not even in top five. Why? Not because they don’t use location aware services but they’ve got the iPhone ( and Android as well).
Nokia has also announced that the Ovi Maps will come pre-installed on all GPS enabled Nokia devices from 1st March.
