Steve Jobs Laughs At Himself By Launching iBooks

By

29 January 2010

iPad iBook StoreRemember what Steve Jobs had said about Kindle? In an interview soon after Kindle’s launch, Steve Jobs told NYT that Kindle would be a great failure:

“It doesn’t matter how good or bad the product is, the fact is that people don’t read anymore. Forty percent of the people in the U.S. read one book or less last year. The whole conception is flawed at the top because people don’t read anymore.”

Well done Steve! You are good at laughing others but I didn’t expect you to make fun of yourself. With the launch of iBooks app and iBook store you have admired the fact that you were so damn wrong!
