Unlike HP and some smaller companies Acer has not yet jumped into the tablet game. It doesn’t mean that they won’t but they are waiting to see what Apple has in its lap. The sad part of the story – which we are experiencing everywhere – is that they are not confident for Chrome OS:
“We’re developing something, and we will see what happens after Apple’s tablet release. We’re going to work either in the Windows world or in Google’s defined OS space.”
“Google defined OS space” may mean Android as well but engadget thinks it is for Chrome OS and the tablet is set for 3rd quarter. Isn’t it a sad story? Why is Acer not excited about the Chrome OS? Rather they are deciding between Windows 7 and Google OS.
