Rolltop

We always like to look into the future, that’s the reason we like the concept gadgets. German designer from Orkin-design has proposed a concept gadget called Rolltop which is a combination of a tablet and a laptop. It rolls up like a mat. Thanks to the flexible OLED, it makes possible to use it as a full touchscreen tablet as well as a laptop. I appreciate the work but also think that such laptops may never appear in the market. We like the gadgets to shrink, but a big roll to be hanged to my shoulder is not a good idea. Also, when we’ll have such OLEDs available, there would most probably, wireless electricity available all around and there would be no need of the adopter and the cable.  I don’t like to manage the things separately. While using the laptop, I have to keep the webcam/USB module separately which may not be a good idea.

I would rather like a laptop that folds up instead of rolling up. It will make more sense in regard of portability and compatibility with modern standards.
