Most of us are pretty contented with our google reader but the fact is that it is not an ideal feed reader. You have to open up your reader every now and then to find the blogposts you are subscribed to. Most of the times you have 1000+ posts unread there and the figure keeps on increasing. There is no way to find the posts of your interest out of thousands. The solution to this problem can be the random display of posts like you flick through the pages of a printed magazine. Google has recently launched fast flip that randomly displays posts from specific websites. Unfortunately, you cannot choose between the sites and have to read whatever is delivered.
1) Google Fast Flip + Google Reader
My proposed concept of an ideal RSS feed reader is the Google fast flip combined to the google reader. Consider, you can subscribed to the RSS feeds in google fast flip. You can then look at random blogposts of your interest very quickly and very efficiently just like you flick through a magazine.

2) Adobe Air Based Reader
I wander why has no body come up with the idea of an Adobe Air based feed reader yet. Such a reader can always keep you updated with the latest updates from the sites you are subscribed to. Since it will be a desktop application, you can always keep it open in the background. You’ll be notified about the updates just like tweetdeck and destroytwitter. You won’t come up with the information overload, all the posts will be there right in front of you as they are published. Its just like a TV channel that keeps on delivering the latest news updates.
