Sony’s VAIO series are popular among people but they are not assumed as true netbooks because the price range was not of a netook. They ware only luxurious gadgets to have. Though they are popular but Sony has re-considered his strategy and has release a new series of VAIOs called VAIO W.
This new arrival in the world of gadgets has a 10.1-inch screen and Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor. The display has a 1366 x 768 resolution, other specs include 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard-drive, integrated WiFi & Bluetooth, and GMA950 graphics. OS is Windows XP Home, and the battery life of 3.5 hours has not pleased me at all!
VAIO W’s keyboard, looks to be a chicklet transplant, the 267.8 x 179.6 x 27.5 mm chassis is so so. Good news is that it will soon land in US. If you want this Sony gadget for yourself, you will be able to get your hands on, in August for $500.
