As already known, iPhone OS 3.0 has got MMS support but AT&T is not supporting the service yet. All that we know is AT&T’s word that it will be available later this summer. Despite of the availability, there is a good news.

According to a FAQ PDF document at AT&T’s website the MMS support will be available for no extra charge. Users subscribed to the text messaging plan will get this service for free. Its not yet clear if text messaging plan rates have to be increased or not. Yet it is a good news to have multimedia messaging for free on your favourite gadget!
