Palm Pre Gets a Buggy TouchScreen

Palm Pre has created a lot of hype after the iPhone. It is said to be a potential iPhone killer. Is it really what can beat Apple’s famous product quality? Though a lot of Pres are sold out, yet we didn’t see long queues outside Sprint stores as we had seen outside AT&T stores on iPhone’s launch day. I didn’t hear of any iPhone sold out in its first few days with bugs but kansei-sensei has received a Palm Pre with a buggy touch screen. Palm Pre was promised to be a gadget of all great things but this buggy Pre is really an annoying thing. Here’s a video which kansei-sensei uploaded on his flickr photostream.

Kansei is not clear if Palm will replace his faulty phone or he will have to pay for that. If Palm is heading to something called a good customer experience, this piece should be replaced instead of a repair. Isn’t it very hectic to pay for a brand new gadget and receive a repaired one instead? If such a thing is going to happen, Palm is in no way to beat the great customer care of Apple!
