Sony Ericsson Announced its upcoming 12.1 megapixel camera at CES 2009 whose concept name is “Idou”. It has a 3.5 inch display and will come up with a suite photo editing software along with the usual Sony Ericsson Walkman type of Audio applications. Camera has also a Xenon flash and a protection shutter also. It is a 3G phone with a technology which Sony Ericsson calls Turbo 3G. Wi-Fi is also there to provide you an ultimate experience of broadband connectivity. And most of all, is the built-in GPS. It will obviously have a bluetooth 2.0 or 2.1 with A2DP wireless stereo support.
It has a full touch, fingerprint friendly screen. Body has however a matt finish. It is based on the new Symbian Foundation OS. An interesting feature is capturing of pictures by a tap on the screen. Battery and storage details are yet unclear but we should hope that it will contain a reasonable amount of built-in memory as well as a support for memory expansion. Battery will be a critical point in such a high performance phone. Sony Ericsson has a good reputation in battery timings so we can expect something positive. According to Sony Ericsson, the phone will be launched in the second half of 2009.
